    So, What Do Moravians Believe?

    posted Oct 28, 2009 2:09 PM by Ruth Burcaw   [ updated Oct 6, 2011 11:38 AM ]
This question can be hard to answer because:
    • we don't want to get into a pointless theological debate with the person asking the question; or
    • the Moravian Church gives people a lot of room to think on their own; or
    • we really may not know what the Moravian Church teaches about God and the Christian life.

Join us for Moravian Theology 101, where we’ll  look at Moravian theology through the centuries and answer the question, “ What do Moravians believe?”  We’ll discover why Moravians do not define doctrine rigidly and may avoid controversial topics. We’ll explore the doctrine of the original Moravian Church, the theology of Zinzendorf, and the modern Ground of the Unity.
