Every year at this time, each of us makes our personal journey to Bethlehem to once again visit with the Christ Child. How do we come to this holy season? Is it any different this year than in previous years? What does this time really mean? How do we make this journey more meaningful?

My guess is these are the types of questions that are more common than we may wish them to be. It is easy to be consumed by the trappings of this season and lose perspective on what do we truly celebrate. I ask you to use the following poem as a guide during this coming season to help each of us center ourselves not only on what we need to do, but also on who we need to be.
